Function
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation to completion. This role requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. They will call upon expert specialist knowledge to lead concurrent projects, setup industry best practice processes and motivate the team to deliver on agreed project requirements.
The Project Manager is accountable for Projects in their portfolio to be delivered on time and on budget against the agreed specification and functionality. The Project Manager will also support the Program Manager with delivery of all defined project scopes and requirements.
The role will work with cross-functional teams to manage the delivery of integrated solutions within the Product Development Lifecycle and/or Business Change Projects
Qualifications and Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)
Prince 2 Project Management qualifications
Minimum of 3+ Years Project Management Experience
Management of projects employing both Prince II and Agile project management frameworks
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SLDC) models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
High-level experience managing software delivery teams, employing either Scrum or Kanban
Hands on experience with various project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools
Proven ability to lead software and hardware development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met
Successful management and coordination of project delivery with geographically diverse teams in the technology sector
Excellent analytical, planning, organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
Deep knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
Excellent English, grammatical, and report writing style for internal and external communications.
Ability to collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value
An adaptive and innovative approach to rapidly evolving needs and circumstances
Desirable
Experience with product development task management tools
Experience managing scope with complicated clients
Experience with ISO 13485 and FDA
Experience with hardware components and supply chain management
Medical Device and/or Healthcare experience
